Transport yourself to France and rewind the clock to 25th May 1961... to a time where the only toy animals available were your typical farm and pet animals, Monsieur Rampeau noticed a gap in the market and decided to design a girafe baby toy. Monsieur Rampeau was an expert in using traditional methods to transform latex from the Hevea tree into rubber toys. On Saint Sophies Day, Sophie La Girafe was born (hence her name)!
To this day, the much loved Sophie La Girafe’s original design remains unchanged and Sophie La Girafe products are still made using the secret traditional methods, which includes more than 14 manual operations.
We love the Sophie La Girafe So Pure range, which is the only range you will find on our website! The So Pure range consists of products made using 100% organic cotton, corn fibre and 100% natural rubber. All the products are presented in attractive gift boxes which are made using recyclable materials.
